This spring, I am asking you to join me in helping over 24,000 — kids, families, seniors and others — in northern Toronto meet their food needs.
As the Chair of North York Harvest’s Board of Directors, I want to express my sincerest thanks to all our supporters for helping our community.
However, our work is far from done. Over 24,000 individuals, including children and seniors, rely on North York Harvest Food Bank to put food on the table. The summer months are an especially difficult time of year for food bank donations, and we need all the support we can get to keep our shelves stocked. Your generosity will allow us to purchase fresh and nutritious food for children who cannot rely on their school meal programs during the summer.
You may have spotted me in a bright red radish suit during your morning commute last year and wondered why I was dressed as a vegetable. As silly as the idea of commuting to work as a radish was, it helped in uniting people towards a common goal: raising awareness about food insecurity and helping people struggling to meet their food needs.
Together we can make a big difference in the lives of people in our community!
On behalf of the North York Harvest community, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks for your kindness.
Donate Today and Double the Impact on the lives of children, seniors and others our community! Thank you!
